Both candles and flames give off a warm, golden glow for you and your loved one to open your Christmas gifts by. Also included is a tabletop-sized Christmas tree for decoration.

3 Christmas giftboxes & the ubiquitous bottle of booze!  ’tis the season! New from Domicile and the Gentlemen Bastards comes this set of three fully-modifiable giftboxes with ribbons and bows. Rez them simply for decoration, or place a (transferrable) gift in a box’s contents, add the script you’ll find in the included notecard, and give the giftbox to your loved one. Have them rez the box and touch it, and your gift will be given to them.

Nine full-perm Christmas giftwrap textures are included, for you to customise the boxes to your heart’s content.

Also included is the ubiquitous giftwrapped bottle of plonk (hey, there’s always one under the tree, right?) – decorative only. (If you fancy a glass of vino, though, there’s another giftwrapped bottle in the notecard; rez and touch that for some festive cheer while you wrap the rest of the pressies.)

Primflints: 3-storey Industrial Skybox

Domicile 3-storey Industrial Skybox – This skybox has a 20m x 20m ‘footprint’ and stands 30m high. It has three levels and features local lighting on all levels. Inside and outside textures are a mixture of rusting steel and grates, and the lighting is in the form of biohazardous waste. The lowest floor is solid, and the upper two floors are open grates. An ideal roleplaying environment! The atmosphere can be added to and changed by use of Windlight presets, available as defaults and created by Torley Linden.

Tintable leather armchair with cushions & poseball – The three armchair styles in the Domicile tintable armchair range (60s, fabric, and leather) are all fully tintable to match your decor. The chairs all contain a certain amount of dark wood (feet in the 60s chair, and feet, back and base in the other two) which will not tint well, but all the chairs are fully modifiable should you wish to change the wood textures. The leather armchairs are 16 prims each.

The poses inside the chairs are no-copy, making the chairs themselves no-copy. For that reason, three chairs are included in each sales pack, which should be enough for most living rooms.

Musings: A return from hiatus

Having taken a few weeks away from building, I’m back in the swing of things.

Last month’s Freebie of the Month (the mini-Arrr!Bor) will remain in the store until the end of September, at which time I will switch it out for a new freebie, so it’s still available to grab if you’ve not snagged it yet.

I’m currently working on a large new skybox: the bigger (40×30) version of the Castle Skybox that so many people seem to enjoy (and which I’ve just realised – horrors! – I haven’t put on this blog!) This larger version is one that I originally built on our home parcel a long time ago, before I learned how to align prims properly, and I’m now re-making it as a sale item. It has three floors, a dungeon, three large split-level rooms with sleeping platforms, and a small kitchen area. Once inside, this fully-enclosed skybox forms an ideal roleplaying or living environment, and will be sold as the Gentleman’s Study set is: in various sets, to include the fully-furnished skybox, skybox alone, furniture alone, and decor alone. There are also several items available in the Gentleman Bastards Mini-Mall that will suit the build extremely well, including my partner’s great low-cost Medieval Hearth/Gorean Servery Beginners Kit, at just 25L$

New: The Gentleman’s Study experience!

I’ve just installed a mini-version of the Gentleman’s Study at the store, so you can get an idea of the atmosphere it has. Set world to midnight and come and relax in the armchair by the fire, with the soothing tick of the clock. Click the letter on the sideboard for more info about the build.
